Today was an epic waste of time :D

Because its .. the ‘Olympic Track and Field Meet’ or better known as Sports Day.

Well… Sports Day for the participants. Slackening Day for the spectators =D

I got to Bedok Stadium at about 7:05 AM. Yeah, that early. I wandered around outside the stadium smsing Wesley, who proceeded to say ‘Huh oh shit I later ler’. I loled.

I got inside the stadium and saw Samantha and VP and the rest sitting down and giggling like bimboes, so I sat beside them and waited. Then Chang Wei and Davin came, and I sat down beside them and crapped around. Then Thomas came, and I asked him why he thought that the anonymous ass on his blog insulting him was me >_> He said because I liked to call him poseur. Oh lawd, I was referring to Kenneth la.

Then we say Uncle Goh in the same apparel he was donning during the Mass Run and we laughed. Lol, Poon said he was handsome without the glasses and all. Then Mr Fathul made an announcement to ask the people outside the stadium to come in, and so I said “All those outside the stadium please GTFI now. Kthx.” Chang Wei laughed.

We had to assemble to take our attendance, and then I saw.. Chester, Izzati, Huznu and more people streaming in. I was like lolwut when Nurina asked me to carry something. I thought she was referring to Xin Lan and Priscilla’s bags, but the only thing she gave me was a small plastic bag with Priscilla’s brownies >_>

Then Mr Hafiz organised us according to our Houses. Topaz had to sit at the left. Uhgg. The sun was a killer. So everyone moved up XD Mr Fathul asked us to squeeze to let Emerald move in too. Then we watched the races. It was boring. >___> I’m glad that I brought Inkheart along.

Kuang Yu came back from the drink stall with Root Beer. I saw him shaking it up and then he asked me to open it. I said okay, pointed the cap at him and then proceeded to open it. He said “OKAY NEVERMIND” and then asked Izzati to open it. She did. And she was above me. Suay.

Yeah, I got soaked in Root Beer. But its awsum :D Then we crapped around more until it was time for the Novelty Race for the Teachers, Alumni and Parents. I said that Ms Shanti was gonna run XD Then we were bored again. I called Chang Wei a dildo and Kuang Yu laughed XD Oh ya, I took some of his paper and drew a girly Link and a o 3o Claire.

So all in all it was a boring, but fun, but boring, but fun day. Yeah

Lol the band played Tequila, and it sounded awesome.

-Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles-

Alright, most of you have heard of RE: TDC and probably think it’ll be awesome. Think again, sparky.

Yeah, sure. It’s sorta like a remake of Resident Evil 2, but seriously, its not. ಠ_ಠ It’s one of those money-milking, spontaneous schemes Capcom uses to fuck with the brains of us real Resident Evil fans.

At first, I was like “OMG ITS RE2 LOLOLOL YES FINALLY CRAPCOM IS MAKING SENSE!” when I first heard of it. Then the bad part came: It’s gonna be on-rails, like RE: UC. That made me feel cheated. Made me feel disappointed. What’s wrong with this, you say? Oh, because I was expecting a remade RE2, not some short shitload of a summary Capcom dishes out to the self-proclaimed ‘true’ fans of RE that we have now that only play RE4 ~ RE5.

-Gameplay elements-

Alright.

On-rails suck. You know why? It doesn’t give that adventurous feel. It takes away the suspense. All you do is to shoot stuff while watching a movie. A movie. That’s boring. I missed the suspense of the past RE games, where you would open a door and you wouldn’t know what would be behind it. >_>

And then there’s the first person. Seriously, first person modes ARE NOT meant for Survival Horror. I miss the creepy angles RE2 used to give when you played them. Sure, it gives you a more scary feel ’cause you don’t know what’s behind you but is it really worth it? It’s like giving a robber your money so he doesn’t rob you >_> They took away to freaky scary spontaneous-changing angles for not knowing what’s behind you. Believe you me, the sudden-changing of angles scared me more than when someone suddenly taps me from behind.

-Resident Evil 2 vs RE TDSC-

I can assure you RE2 > RE TDSC. ‘Nuff said.

I’m not looking forward to RE: TDSC as much as the next guy, k. I know I shouldn’t be ranting so early (its still under development if I’m not wrong) but I just need to let out some steam. Ya. K.

So uh.. let me recount the escapades that made up yesterday >_>

The morning started with me needing to go for TAF. Goodness gracious I wasn’t late for the first time. Before TAF started I hung around near the canteen area and talked to Samantha, Xin Lan and Mashita. I complained about HEMHEM V to Samantha. To my surprise Mashita agreed too.

Then Mr Ow Yong came out and shouted “OKAY ALL ASSEMBLE IN PARADE SQUARE! C’mon Marc, go already!”

I was like WHAT? HE RECOGNISES ME FROM BEHIND LOLWUT. Then I went there and took attendance and shjizz and then Davin came. I crapped to him about the foreboding Literature/Drama presentation (The presentation was drama; no offence to Ms Idzhana.. I used foreboding XD) and stuff. Then TAF started at it ended too >_>

The usual blah-and-stare-at-newspaper session was not present because it was a Friday, and so we went up to class with heavy hearts due to the doom we know as Maths Test Involving Quadratic Equations. Mr Wong didn’t come up for like 15 minutes and we were wondering whether he came or not. Then, he came up and the first thing he said was

Everyone was like WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and stuff. He also scolded us because we were too noisy and that Poon saw a naked boy in the houses opposite our classroom and the whole class went to look. I said that they were voyeurs. The rest of the lesson was spent learning about Mean, Mode, and .. that other M word.

Then it was History. We did a test.

Literature came after. Doom was near. I think.. Khai’s group went up first? Yeah. Then Lina’s, then Kuang Yu’s then mine? I think so. My Literature Presentation was screwed. I laughed too much. Yeah.

Recess.. mundane.

Science. Uncle Goh didn’t come in for the first period due to a meeting, so we got Mdm Ng -.- Then he came in for the 2nd period but he was too late. Nehh.

EDIT: OH RIGHT, UNCLE GOH ALSO SAID HE STUDIED IN QIAONAN DURING HIS PRIMARY SCHOOL DAYS, WHICH IS TOTALLY AWESOME SINCE I WAS FROM THERE -insert imhigh pic-

English.. was spent writing a recount of our ventures during the holidays. I didn’t feel like writing.

Then IT lesson! We finished up our Flash projects and then spammed each other on MSN. Chor Beng kept spamming his signing in -.-

It started off with DNT, we had to make some Ergo Toothbrush (wtf ‘therefore’ toothbrush). I spent half of my lunch money on a sketchbook which I could get outside for like 50 cents -.- Well, sucks to be me. We designed the cover page and everything. 1.80 for one Ergo Toothbrush design sketchbook. Which uses like only 1/6 of the pages. Someone kill me.

Then Recess… mundane. Kuang Yu kept crapping around with the rubber ducks we got from our trip to HWA. XD

Maths was spent learning more about Stem-and-leaf diagrams. Heh. Lol Poon asked where Mr Wong got his hair cut.

Then Science. Uncle Goh talked about how behind we are on the syllabus and shizz. @_@

English. English, my favourite subject. Mr Singh retired! T_______T Damn, I’m gonna miss him. He was an awesome teacher, to be frank. Now we got Mr Tiah, a new teacher in our school. Since it was only one period he introduced himself and just played games with us. But, still, no teacher can beat Mr. Singh. D:

IT lessons were stressful. Due to the copious amount of inconsiderate people not showing up for the holiday session, we guai students (who turned up last week) had to tutor the rest who didn’t show up. Retarded eh. Ocarina of Time

I suddenly have this urge to get an ocarina. It’s different from when I wanted a saxophone. Seriously. Oh btw, if you don’t know what’s an ocarina,

I want one for various reasons, to feel different, to have my own originality, and well, (no offence to any guitar players out there) I think that guitars are too overrated. I mean, cmon, I bet that alot of people in my school know how to play a guitar, but none know how to play an ocarina. Oh, and because I want to play it in class and charm everyone with its sweet mellow tones @_@

I might have sounded narcissistic up there but its the way I am so deal with it. >_>

Right, so my love for ocarinas first developed when I was lurking in the 4PlayerPodcast website, which Galv introduced to me. They were having a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time marathon, and when Link played his ocarina, it sounded delightful. My curiosity was piqued, and I Googled ‘Ocarina’ which lead me to the above Wikipedia page. I was interested in learning more, but I was too lazy then.

It further heightened when I heard that Leggy’s (her deviantART) friend, Zeroclassa, had one. She said that she was charmed by it, and I was thinking ‘Hey, what if I charmed my class with one?’ So yeah, the inquisitiveness increased.

And just now, when I suddenly thought of ‘Ocarina’ when I was playing Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap and started to think about getting one. Sadly, they don’t sell any in SG. I’m contemplating about getting one through eBay, but yeah, I’m underage. ._. Nerh.

Sorry for the lack of updates (even though no one bothers to come here ._.). I was sick for the past coupla days (note to self: never leave the fan on on full blast after room is cold enough)
