So I was watching the History Channel yesterday (actually no, I was sleeping when I heard ‘Centralia’ being mentioned, you know that town in Pennsylvania that’s deserted, yeah. I’m interested in that town so I sat up awake lol) when a commercial for the show “Life After People” came on, you know that show about how scientists predict the Earth would be like after we all die out? Mmmhmm.

Straight after that ad, another ad for the show “Battle Plan” came on. That show about military training and strategies.

That made me think.

If we’re all going to die out one day, what is the use for war? Military strength? Fighting in general? Obviously it has no use. But why do we still do it?

Because of selfish reasons. :) Selfish reasons such as hate, greed, stereotyping and shit. (Oh, and if you thought that smile I put on there was real, yeah, you fail.) It’s retarded how USA fucking raids Iraq and the Middle East for some reason (which I dunno of but I bet its stupid anyway). Then there’s the North Korea shit, and Somalia and fuck.

The more we do this, the more the show “Life After People” would be happening in real life (aha, ironic). Do you all really want us to die out earlier? I figure we have at least another 300 years before we all die out due to some natural reason BUT NOT 50 years later, humanity dies out because of a STUPID country toying with radiation. (NK, I’m looking at you)

Then there’s all the reasons. Let me touch stereotyping. Stereotyping causes unnecessary hate, doncha think? You see a black guy. You hate him because you think all black guys are criminals. Dumb, ain’t it? I have a example I’ve encountered. An acquaintance of mine is homophobic. You know why? Because he stereotypes all homosexuals (male, at least) to be really vain.

Fuck you. If they’re vain, so fucking what? It’s their lives, not yours. Even though they might rant on about how hideous they look there’s always the choice to ignore. Oh, but no, you have to add oil to the fire, saying that stereotyping feels good. Fuck you again. Even though you might say its a joke, its a really insulting one a that. And I might just say that your life is a joke. Hurting, ain’t it? Now you know how they feel. :)

We all know how greed comes in, and how hate comes in too. Hate is so stupid I don’t even want to talk about it.

Aha, so I finally blog. Shut up.

Let’s start with 22nd November okay? Crossdressing Day for me. (but not rly)

I didn’t sleep the night before Xdress Day because I’m such a rebel. But I regretted it after totally dying while walking around iluma XD

Met Vivi at Tampines MRT and waited for Slashy. After like 15 mins of waiting, I got a call from Slashy saying that he’s upstairs, at the platform already. Wat.

Went up and took the MRT to Pasir Ris (slacking purposes aha) and all the way to City Hall to meet up with Niko. From then onwards until we went to Singapore Art Museum, we did nothing. So -skip-

In the Singapore Art Museum, we stared at art pieces, dur. The only interesting thing was when we went to sam8Q, which is Singapore Art Museum at 8 Queen Street. The exhibits there, are… damn good. For example, there was this exhibit about writing and shizz, and there were tons of books, and only one of them was readable, the rest were either broken, needed a mirror or locked.

The closet in that exhibit, when you open it, guess what, leads to Narnia has another passageway behind it, leading to a hall with many papers stuck to its floor, walls and ceiling, and another door that led to a completely black and white room, yes, even the things were black and white.

I suggest you all go to sam8Q plz :O

After that went to iluma for shizz. Found Otaku Zone! :D I walked around and found some Haruhi Suzumiya keychains. I bought Kyon and Haruhi cuz they were the only ones available D: Then walked to Comic Connection, where I bought a Ciel handphone strap! :D

Yeah. And went home after that cuz I was tired :D

Mmmhm. Nothing else to talk about :\ I just finished my volunteer work and got 20 bucks for it. Lol.

– w- The holidays don’t give you much to blog about, do they? Only hyperactive bloggers like Anne-baka would blog each and every day.

I watched Paranormal Activity a few days back (Monday to be precise) and… I thought it was a comedy instead of a horror. Seriously. I wasn’t scared at all, and the ways Katie and Micah (the two protagonists) died is hilarious XD

I must praise the movie though, for creating an authentic feel of a ‘home-made’ movie. I’ve heard that the actors used a method of scripting called retroscripting (where the actors don’t have a script. They make up their own dialogue as the filming goes on) and that really adds realism and characterisation. I LOVVIT! XD

So if you have any time, go watch Paranormal Activity, but do it at home. It’s not worth watching it in the cinema. And prepared to be bored until Night 13, kay? XD

Haven’t caught up on my anime yet. I’m not planning to anyway. Har.

I still have Jo-sama’s present to get ready :O :O You use Fedex or UPS? LOL. Jk jk. It’s a surprise :P

Strawberry Panic

Wheee rant time.

As we all know, our posting results our out (at least for my cohort) and many people have complained that it was unfair, myself included (What, the 32nd position in our class gets into 3E1, while I, the 14th position, gets into 3E4? Wat. Even more so when the 2nd position gets into 3E4 too.) and I heard many are going up to school to appeal.

Okay, one thing’s stupid. You can’t appeal upwards, only downwards. This either shows that my generation (or rather, their parents) is really THAT stupid, ignorant, or just plain kiasu. >_>

My good friend of mine, named S (for anonymity duhh xD), told me that she needed to go to school to appeal, because she got into 3E4 instead of 3E1, where she rightfully deserves a place in. She told me via sms that her parents asked her to appeal when I inferred that she was happy being in 3E4. I was well, appalled, apparently.

I mean, hello, your child is already at least happy, then why aren’t you? Or are you really that desperate for your child to get into a good stream, therefore landing her a bitchass job and so she can work her heart out to milk her job for all its money’s worth to feed you when you get old, only contributing to your fat ass? Seriously, SOME of parents are really fucktarded.

Yes, I’m insulting you, what the fuck can you do? Freedom of speech, you cunts. And yes I’m also ranting about your oh-so-good children who were obviously brainwashed by your worthless needs.

S said she disappointed her parents by getting into 3E4 (unfairly I might say, not totally her fault, so its mainly a misunderstanding by her delusional parents). I had only this to reply:

“Look, I believe that you should do things that you WANT to do and not what OTHERS want you to do. I mean, it’s your life. Take this analogy for an example, you want ice cream and you have the money to buy a serving. Then your mother says you can’t because she felt like it. Would you still buy the ice cream? AS HELL I WOULD. In your life, the only thing that matters is you. You are your own enemy. You are your own challenge. Screw other people. But wait, I’m not telling you to be self-centered, I’m just saying that you should do things because you, your mind, your body and your will wants to, not to be influenced by anybody’s opinions. Would you rather do something that would make you happy, or do something that will make you feel down and make another party happy? Believe me.”

S then said she wished she could have my optimistic spirit, because I said “Oh well, I got into 3E4. So? At least I got the subjects I wanted. At least I can do what I want when I grow up.” (And she remarked I sounded like GTY and SFD LOL)

All this started because of their parents’ want for them to earn money for themselves (as in their children) and *most importantly* for their *wonderful* parents. To be honest, I’d rather have a world where people are happy because they got what they wanted and deserved than a world where people kept trying to make other people happy, therefore influencing their choices and making themselves upset, causing a chain reaction that would make the whole world upset.

I’ve been wanting to rant about this topic for a while but time and time again I screwed it because it wasn’t worth it, but this was the last straw.

What happened to freedom of choice? I won’t be surprised if our world turns into a hybrid of North Korea and Somalia. Gosh.

It only seems like yesterday I was sitting in class with Yan Ru behind me, Izzati on my left, Chang Wei on my right, Mashita in front of me, Thomas diagonally left of me, Chester diagonally right of me and etc. Only like yesterday when I was still known as Lily (Hahaha! Zaza and Yanyan!), only like yesterday when Mr Wong left us, only like yesterday when we stepped into TPSS as a fresh Secondary 2 student.

I kinda regret not living it to the fullest but hey, with each end there’s a new beginning. Secondary 3 here I come! (That was so cheesy)

The class chalet’s coming up soon and I’m excited. I wanna go to the beaaaach but sadly it’s gonna be at Pasir Ris, the only water body near to us being Wild Wild Wet. Lol.
